Incoming Executive Individual/ Family Partner Program
Target: Incoming executive, key staff or professional staff and families for primary employers in Fond du Lac County.
This is a joint collaborative venture of the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation’s M.O.R.E. Business existing business program and Fond du Lac Works, the workforce development initiative of the Fond du Lac Association of Commerce. It is intended to assist in attracting talent to the County and to provide quick immersion into the community.
Process: A cadre of local individuals and families will provide information that will be placed in a database on size of family, ages, likes and dislikes, hobbies, interests, etc. The incoming individual or family will provide the same information and a match will be determine.
Commitment: The host family or individual will commit to be a “partner individual or family” for a period of one year. This could start prior to the actual move to Fond du Lac County. Responsibilities will include assisting the incoming families or individuals to community leaders, recommending or helping to find doctors, dentists, realtors, places of worship, etc. The commitment could end before the year if the incoming individual or family feels that it is no longer necessary.
